Healing, health, balance, and wellness takes consistency. I have felt a tremendous difference in my body by using oils every day and have noticed a difference in the people I am around when I am wearing them.
I use oils to help support, maintain, and heal my body. Support can come in different ways depending on how you would like to use them. Many use them to support the body in the following ways: creating a relaxing environment, building the immune system, relieving tension, calming nerves, promoting a healthy metabolism, uplifting mood, calming stomach (oils have come in handy since I am pregnant), relieving sore/ achy muscles, decreasing stress, aiding with seasonal wellness, improving skin, building up antioxidants, promoting circulation, repelling insects, aiding with digestion, purifying the body systems, supporting respiratory functions, and soothing skin irritations.
This, of course, is aside from other uses such as perfume, cleaning, improving focus, first aid, or other daily living activities.

Some changes to your body, mood, or immune system happen within 15-30 minutes; some happen over a period of time. In ordered to see the desired effect, continued use is encouraged. In order to ensure you are adding your drops on a daily basis, set yourself up for success.
I have found putting my oils next to the places I use them increases their chance/frequency of use. For example, I usually put Lavender or Vetiver essential oils in the diffuser when I sleep. So I have a bottle of Lavender and Vetiver oils on my nightstand. I have a bottle of peppermint essential oil next to where I wash my face in the morning and a bottle of lemon essential oil next to where I fill up my water bottle in the morning. This increases my chance of using my oils daily.
I also have bottles and blends in my car (during cooler months), in every purse I potentially use, and I also carry oils in a makeup bag. This way I am always prepared to put a drop or two, to good use. Adding oils to your DIY (do it yourself) cleaning products or household fresheners are also a great get some aromatherapy.

I hope this gives you ideas on how you can use your oils daily. As a new oil user, I hope you feel more empower and confident in using your oils. Daily usage has helped me from the beginning and even now during my pregnancy (which has been a very symptomatic one), essential oils have aided in grounding and uplifting my spirits.
Don’t give up. If one or two oils don’t work try another one for a couple of days. There is an oil for everything. You will be surprised one oil you use to sleep might even aid you throughout the day.
